On Saturday, any Johnson County resident can dispose of their unwanted waste at the Household Hazard Waste (HHW) event.

 On Saturday, any Johnson County resident can dispose of unwanted waste at the Household Hazard Waste (HHW) event. The drop-off event is from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Citizens will be need to have a photo ID and an overview or general description of HHW items. 

"For the safety of staff, customers will be asked to remain in their vehicles at all times during the drop-off. Staff will remove all materials. Properly disposing of hazardous waste today is critical in shaping the health and environmental effect of our community tomorrow," per a media release.
